Data Rights & International Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, object to or restrict certain processing, withdraw consent, and opt out of sale/sharing or targeted advertising where those concepts apply under local law.

Access requests typically require verification of identity to prevent unauthorized disclosure. We may withhold information where law permits (for example, where disclosure would harm others’ rights).

You may update certain profile information in-app. For other corrections, contact privacy@geokiks.com with sufficient detail to locate records.

Account deletion follows the process on the Delete Account page. After you request deletion, the account is deactivated for a 30-day pending period and hidden from ordinary use. Some stored content, backups, and records kept for legal obligations, fraud and security, or disputes may remain. GeoKiks does not currently complete a full wipe of every system on a fixed date.

A full machine-readable export is not currently available in the product. Email privacy@geokiks.com. GeoKiks will help where the law requires and the systems allow.

Depending on jurisdiction, you may object to processing based on legitimate interests or restrict processing in certain cases. We will evaluate requests under applicable law.

Withdrawing consent does not affect processing prior to withdrawal where lawful. Some features may cease to function without necessary processing.

Depending on your region, you may have rights to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising as those words are defined locally. Use device advertising settings (iOS Tracking / Android advertising ID) and in-app controls where they exist. The GeoKiks website does not currently honor a Global Privacy Control signal or offer a cookie preference center. Email privacy@geokiks.com for privacy requests.

EU/EEA and UK: You may have GDPR/UK GDPR rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and complaint to a supervisory authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA): Residents may have rights including access, deletion, correction, and opt-outs for certain sharing/targeted advertising, subject to definitions and exceptions.

Brazil (LGPD): Rights may include confirmation, access, correction, anonymization, portability, deletion, and information about sharing.

Canada (PIPEDA/provincial laws): Rights may include access and correction, subject to exceptions.

India (Digital Personal Data Protection Act): Rights may include access, correction, erasure, grievance escalation, and nomination where applicable.

Australia (Privacy Act): Rights may include access and correction, with complaint pathways to regulators in certain cases.

We may require email confirmation, device checks, or documentation for sensitive requests. Fraudulent requests may be rejected and reported.

Authorized agents may submit consumer privacy requests where allowed by law, accompanied by signed authorization and verification consistent with applicable requirements.

Where required, you may appeal our refusal to take action on a request using the process described in our response or applicable law.
