Child Safety & Minor Protection Policy

Last updated May 12, 2026

GeoKiks is committed to **child safety** and the **dignity** of young people using or affected by our Services. This **Child Safety & Minor Protection Policy** (“**Policy**”) supplements our **Community Guidelines**, **Terms of Service**, and **Privacy Policy** and applies to all users. **GeoKiks is not directed** to children below the **lawful minimum age** to use our Services in your jurisdiction, and we do **not knowingly** collect personal information from children without **verifiable parental or guardian consent** where such consent is required by law.

1.GeoKiks commitment to child safety

We prohibit child sexual abuse material (CSAM), child exploitation, grooming, sexual solicitation of minors, trafficking of minors, sextortion involving minors, and sexualization of minors across every surface of GeoKiks (including posts, comments, profiles, messages if offered, and links).

When we detect or receive a good-faith report of apparent CSAM, we remove content, preserve evidence under legal standards, and report to competent authorities as required, including to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline in the United States where applicable. Non-consensual sexual imagery of minors is reported and enforced regardless of alleged artistic intent.

We do not permit “jokes,” memes, anime-style sexual depictions of minors, nudist framing, or dating solicitations involving minors. Good-faith educational or public-interest journalism about child safety may be permitted only with strict editorial context and no exploitative imagery or prurient framing.

2.Minimum age, guardian consent, and underage accounts

You may only create or maintain an account if you meet the minimum age in our Terms of Service and under applicable law in your region. Where minors may use online services only with parental or guardian consent, you must provide such consent truthfully when we request it.

If we reasonably believe an account belongs to an underage user who may not lawfully use GeoKiks, we may restrict, suspend, or terminate the account, delete associated personal data subject to legal retention exceptions, and refund paid features only where stores permit.

Guardians may be asked to verify identity when submitting requests about a minor’s account under our Privacy Policy and applicable statutes.

3.Prohibited child exploitation and abuse content

Prohibited content includes but is not limited to: any visual depiction of sexually explicit conduct involving a child; lascivious exhibition; bestiality involving minors; grooming manuals; links to CSAM or dark-web markets; sexual comments directed at minors; and trading or soliciting CSAM.

Synthetic or AI-generated CSAM-like content is treated as exploitative and prohibited even if fictional, consistent with evolving legal standards in applicable jurisdictions.

Users must not request, offer, or imply access to offline sexual contact with minors, nor recruit minors into adult spaces on or off GeoKiks.

4.Grooming, predatory behavior, and unsafe contact attempts

Grooming includes patterned behavior intended to lower inhibitions of a minor for future abuse: private channel migration, secrecy from guardians, gift-giving with strings attached, age confusion games, roleplay sexual overtones, and isolating minors from peer or family oversight.

Predatory behavior also includes adults seeking romantic or sexual interaction with minors, rating minors’ bodies, asking for underwear or shower imagery, or blackmail for additional imagery (sextortion).

Unsafe contact attempts, including unsolicited meeting proposals near schools, parks, or residences known to involve minors, may be treated as imminent risk and escalated to law enforcement where permitted.

5.Sexualization of minors and minor trafficking

Sexualization includes sexual commentary, objectifying captions, focus on minors’ bodies for prurient interest, pageants framed in a sexual manner, and shipping real minors in sexual fan content.

Minor trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation recruitment, including offers of transport, housing, or payments in exchange for sexual acts involving minors, are prohibited and may be preserved and referred to authorities without prior user notice where legally required or permitted for victim safety.

6.Minor location exposure and tracking

Do not publish school pickup/drop-off routines, bedroom locations, real-time maps of minors, sport practice schedules with identifying detail, or livestreams that enable stalking of minors.

Do not use My People, maps, or geo-tags to monitor minors for predatory purposes. Guardian-supervised family safety use cases must still respect platform policies and third-party rights.

GeoKiks may limit precision of minor-associated location posts, age-gate features, or disable certain public map surfacing where product policy and law align.

7.Minor harassment, bullying, and predatory “fan” behavior

Do not bully, dox, swarm, or humiliate minors. Adults should not solicit one-on-one private chat or exclusive relationships with minors outside clearly supervised contexts (for example verified educator use cases where GeoKiks explicitly supports them).

Hyper-fan behavior that exhausts a minor creator’s boundaries, demands personal information, or coordinates mass contact may be treated as harassment.

8.Reporting child safety concerns

If you encounter CSAM, grooming, or imminent danger to a child, use the in-app Report category for child safety and email safety@geokiks.com with URLs, timestamps, and screenshots if doing so does not further distribute illicit material.

If a child is in immediate physical danger, call local emergency services and follow their instructions before awaiting platform moderation.

False child-safety reports that weaponize enforcement may result in account sanctions.

9.Safety review systems and escalation to authorities

GeoKiks employs automated detection (including industry hash databases where integrated), human specialist review, preservation locks, and audit trails for NCMEC or local lawful reporting channels.

We restrict frontline moderators’ exposure to CSAM through tooling and limited access to verified materials.

Where mandatory reporting applies, we do not need consent from the perpetrator or reporter to submit required CyberTipline reports.

10.Cooperation with lawful investigations

We cooperate with law enforcement and regulators for lawful investigations into child exploitation, kidnapping, or threats to minors, consistent with our Law Enforcement Request Policy, privacy law, and international MLAT frameworks.

We do not publicly detail active law enforcement coordination to avoid compromising investigations.

11.Privacy expectations and data handling for minors

Depending on region, we implement default privacy settings, restrictions on ads personalization, and limits on third-party data flows for minor accounts where feasible and required.

Guardians may exercise access, deletion, and restriction rights on behalf of minors as described in our Privacy Policy and verification procedures.

12.Restricted or age-gated features

GeoKiks may disable or limit DMs, live streaming, gifting, ads personalization, precise public geo-tagging, or My People features for minor accounts consistent with law, store policies, and risk assessments.

13.Guardian rights and verifiable requests

Guardians may consent to account creation where permitted, request data export or deletion, challenge automated decisions where applicable law provides, and appeal enforcement tied to minors’ accounts with proof of relationship as our Privacy Policy describes.

14.Repeat offenders and permanent bans

Repeat grooming attempts, circumvention of bans with new accounts, or distribution of exploitative content may result in permanent device and identity blocks where policy permits, referral to law enforcement, and public transparency disclosures as required by EU DSA or similar regimes for platform-level reporting.

15.Enforcement, appeals, and transparency

Child-safety enforcement may be non-reversible where legal holds or law enforcement requests apply. Erroneous enforcement (for example misclassified medical education) may be appealed under our Content Moderation & Appeals Policy with expedited review where feasible.

We participate in industry child-safety initiatives where appropriate and publish high-level transparency metrics where law permits.
