Copyright & DMCA Policy

Last updated May 11, 2026

GeoKiks respects **intellectual property rights** and expects users to do the same. This policy describes how to submit **copyright** notices under the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“**DMCA**”) and related processes, to the extent applicable.

1.Respect for intellectual property

Users must only upload content they have rights to share. Unauthorized reproduction or distribution of copyrighted works may result in removal and account enforcement.

2.Copyright complaints

If you believe content on GeoKiks infringes your copyright, please send a notice to the designated agent below with the information required under Section 3. Incomplete notices may delay processing.

3.Required DMCA notice information

A valid DMCA notice typically includes: (1) identification of the copyrighted work; (2) identification of the material and location (URL or other information); (3) your contact information; (4) a statement of good faith belief that use is not authorized; (5) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act; and (6) a physical or electronic signature.

4.Counter-notices

If your content was removed or disabled and you believe the notice was mistaken, you may submit a counter-notice consistent with the DMCA. Counter-notices must include required elements and your consent to jurisdiction where applicable. We may restore content if appropriate under law.

5.Repeat infringer policy

GeoKiks may disable or terminate accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. Determinations may consider the number, nature, and severity of incidents.

6.Trademark complaints

Trademark concerns (for example, confusing brand use) may be submitted with sufficient detail to legal@geokiks.com or through the contact below, including identification of rights and allegedly infringing use.

7.False claims warning

Under U.S. law (17 U.S.C. § 512(f)), misrepresentations in notices may subject you to damages. Submit notices only if you have a good-faith basis.
